Inspired by Chinese Ink Wash Painting, an often monochromatic watercolor art, I wanted to create a design that depicts the organic sway of flowers in motion. The entire shirt is delicately embroidered with narrow strips of lightweight fabric to shape the flowers, with edges I frilled to mimic the way petals naturally fold and flow.
